Masonry Detailing Series is a comprehensive collection of construction details and diagrams created by the International Masonry Institute (IMI) for use by architects and engineers as a design resource. The compilation includes numerous details for brick, block, and stone masonry systems, as well as ceramic tile, marble, terrazzo, plaster, rainscreen systems, terra cotta, AAC, and masonry restoration. These details are developed by IMI’s technical team of architects and engineers and reviewed by the International Masonry Training and Education Foundation (IMTEF) instructors, Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) journey workers, and BAC contractors to ensure constructability.
