James Cain is a visionary leader and industry advocate dedicated to advancing concrete masonry across the Southeast. As President of the Southeast Concrete Masonry Association (SCMA) and one of the leaders of the Region 2 CMU Checkoff Program, Cain has been instrumental in promoting new programs like Masonry Framed Homes, Universities Education and Research, while strengthening industry-academic partnerships, and driving more education in masonry construction.
A strong advocate for industry growth, Cain has worked to drive the expansion of CMU and other masonry products, increasing market share and awareness of masonry’s durability and sustainability. His strategic vision continues to propel SCMA forward, making concrete masonry a cornerstone of resilient and sustainable building solutions.
With a passion for education, promotion, and industry advancement, James Cain remains a driving force behind SCMA’s mission to empower masonry professionals and expand the reach of concrete masonry in construction.
