The SCMA Ambassador Award is granted annually to a member who exemplifies the principles of the Triple AAA Initiative: Advocates, Achieves, and Accelerates the SCMA message in their daily work routines. This distinguished award acknowledges individuals who actively promote and contribute to the success of SCMA’s mission, values, and objectives. The President of the SCMA presents this award during the annual conference, recognizing those who make significant efforts to advance the association’s goals and disseminate its message through their professional activities.

2023 Ambassador of the Year – David McQueen, Oldcastle APG | Adams
This special award given by James Cain, SCMA President, to leaders who are recognized among their peers of demonstrating the highest level of expertise, knowledge of masonry, exceeding customer expectations, and promotion of the Southeast Concrete Masonry Association. “David is the embodiment of what all salespeople in every company should aspire to be,” says James Cain.
